Employing hardware logic gates, it effectively implements the transport and network layers of the TCP/IP protocol stack, encompassing protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMP, PPPoE, among others. Integrated with a data link layer, physical layer, and 32K bytes of on-chip RAM for data transceiving buffer, it significantly reduces the workload of the host computer’s main control chip.
